Method And Caveats

Snapshot timestamp: -

NHS metrics use the refreshed NHS England acute provider snapshot. Matching is trust-level and uses the nearest trust HQ coordinates.

Crime outcomes come from Police.uk. The feed is useful locally but is not a clean charge-rate or conviction-rate dataset.

Benefits pressure uses the refreshed DWP Stat-Xplore local authority snapshot. Council name matching can miss edge cases where official names differ.

PIP and disability pressure uses the refreshed DWP Stat-Xplore local authority snapshot. The annual award figure multiplies cases by the average weekly award.

Private rent uses the refreshed ONS Price Index of Private Rents snapshot. The browser reads a compact summary.

Ofsted schools uses a compact local authority summary built during refresh from the official state-funded school inspections CSV.

Council finance uses the refreshed local area context snapshot, generated from the MHCLG Core Spending Power table.

Migration and shared-housing signals use the small Home Office regional/local authority ODS table and a postcode-level Planning Data Article 4 check.

GP and dental access uses NHS ODS practice records grouped by address town and health geography.

Health conditions use House of Commons Library modelled prevalence outputs. Figures are estimates, not exact counts.

The map uses the postcode latitude and longitude returned by postcodes.io and an OpenStreetMap embed. No map library is loaded.

UC cost is estimated from UC households multiplied by the average UC award in the matched local authority. It is a local pressure estimate, not a formal DWP expenditure table.

Education uses the refreshed Department for Education snapshot. Local lookup only shows education figures when the postcode authority is matched in a local-authority release.

Sewage status uses nearby live storm overflow signals where the lookup API can retrieve them.

Food Hygiene uses the Food Standards Agency ratings API. Dense areas may have more premises than the capped local sample shown here.

MP data uses UK Parliament public APIs for Members, interests, written questions and Commons divisions.
